Providence aviation students provided a pre-match fly-over ahead of the Pilots soccer teams’ home openers last weekend.
The 10 planes, each piloted by a Providence student, made for an impressive sight as they flew in formation above the Otterburne players and fans in attendance.
Following the fly-over the Pilots women beat the visiting Red River College Rebels 6-1, after which the men drubbed the Rebels 7-0. The men’s team is currently ranked #1 in Division II of the National Christian Colleges Athletic Conference while the women are ranked #3.
