Applying to Providence

Are you ready for an educational experience that nurtures both your academic and spiritual growth? Founded in 1925, Providence’s goal is to prepare students be difference-makers in their personal and professional lives. As one of Canada’s top private Christian universities, Providence is dedicated to providing a learning community that will help transform you into a leader in this ever-changing world. So, if you’re looking for an affordable, private Christian education — one that is anchored in a rich academic tradition of equipping students to grow in knowledge and character for leadership and service — then you’re ready to apply to Providence.

At the University College, pursue an undergraduate degree in your preferred field of study (e.g. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science). In the Seminary, Providence offers postgraduate studies for those looking to pursue professions such as ministry, counselling, and chaplaincy/spiritual care. At our Winnipeg Campus, you will find postgraduate options in TESOL (i.e. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and there are various opportunities for international students to earn masters-level certification through the Buller School of Business. As for our Centre for On-Demand Education, this is designed for both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in contextual, mentored, distance education that is focused on skill proficiency.
