Haven’t applied to Providence yet? Let’s get started.
Scholarships and bursaries that are for full-tuition only cover the domestic tuition equivalent for students who are charged international tuition, and to a maximum of a 100% course load (or 15 credit hours per semester).
In cases where a student is enrolled in fewer credit hours (courses) than is required for a scholarship/bursary because of a permanent/prolonged disability or an academic accommodation, the student may be eligible to receive a prorated scholarship/bursary equivalent to their enrolled credit hours. New students should talk to their academic advisor for more information. Returning students must submit the Accommodations and Appeals webform to be considered.
Academic Entrance Scholarships
Academic Entrance Scholarship
The Academic Entrance Scholarship is available to students entering their first year of studies at Providence University College. All new students are automatically assessed for eligibility, with students being awarded the scholarship based on their graded average of qualifying courses at the grade 11 and grade 12 level. A student’s awarded amount is calculated using the student’s 5 highest grades of eligible grade 11 courses, or the student’s 5 highest grades of eligible grade 12 courses (whichever grade average is higher). Award amounts are divided evenly between the student’s first two semesters and may be deferred up to one calendar year, if desired.
