The Pentateuch (Nate Wall-Bowering)
Fall 2025, Winnipeg (Evening Course – Day/Location TBA)
- OT5301 – This course traces the themes of the Pentateuch, beginning with the theology of the primeval history through the patriarchs, the exodus, Sinai, and the shape of the covenantal life prescribed for God’s people. Each of these steps expresses God’s call and the people’s response and is bound up in the promises of God affirmed in covenantal relationship with God people. The themes explored in this course are foundational for an understanding of the remainder of the salvation history of God and the world.
Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Foundations (Dr. Hank Dixon)
Nov. 3-7, Otterburne Campus
- CH5101 – This course introduces chaplaincy, what it means to be a chaplain, how that work is done in various contexts, and the benefit of spiritual care. As well its history, its modern practice will be discussed. The learner will learn to articulate the purpose, role, responsibilities, and value of spiritual care. From this, they will develop a theology of spiritual care that will be foundational to how they serve.
A Critique of Secular Culture (Gavin Hall)
Nov. 3-7, Otterburne Campus
- IS5106 – An interactive seminar that builds on a Christian understanding of worldview and culture to assess critically the history and character of Western secular culture, with specific implications for global Christians.
