When Dr. Michalis Andronikou joined the Providence faculty in 2017 he brought with him an impressive background in composition, having had his pieces performed throughout Europe and North America.

And he hasn’t stopped writing music!

With seven CDs already released, Dr. Andronikou continues to compose prolifically. One of his latest compositions, “Tango Appassionato,” was recently performed by Munich-based pianist Anna Sutyagina.

Dr. Andronikou’s recordings are available at CBC Music, SoundCloud, ReverbNation and YouTube. He is an associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre and member of the Canadian League of composers.
