Biblical Studies
Bring the Bible to the Real World
Biblical Studies is a multidisciplinary program that draws on insights from a variety of academic fields. In your studies, you will explore the ancient languages, history, social setting, and literary genres of the biblical text. Additionally, students learn how to interpret the Bible and its reception in contemporary contexts such as the church, the academy, and in popular culture. This degree prepares graduates to become effective leaders in the church, in parachurch organizations, or in further graduate work.

Program Details
For Entrance into the Biblical Studies program
For entry to the Biblical Studies major, the prerequisite is a grade of “C” or better in each of the introductory nine credit hours in Biblical Studies. For students who have taken additional courses toward the major, a minimum AGPA of 2.00 is required on all courses, excluding failed courses.
