In Dale’s Own Words: “As a former student of psychology at Providence University College, I can attest to the profound impact this institution has had on my academic journey and personal growth. My time at Providence not only prepared me for the next steps in my academic career but also ignited a lifelong passion for learning and discovery.
The psychology program at Providence provided me with a strong foundation in the world of psychology, which was crucial as I embarked on my graduate studies abroad. The faculty both in the psychology and in the theology departments cultivated in me an intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. This challenged me to expand my worldview, encouraging me to explore diverse perspectives, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the complexities of human behaviour.
Beyond the academics, Providence University College allowed me to develop and nurture personal growth and lifelong connections. My experience in the commuters lounge was particularly impactful. It was here that I found a supportive network of peers who shared my enthusiasm for learning and personal development. The camaraderie and sense of belonging I experienced in this community were instrumental in helping me navigate the challenges of university life. These friendships, forged through shared experiences and mutual support, have endured long after graduation.
Providence was trajectory setting, opening up my mind to see my potential and the opportunities available to me. Providence truly helped me to aim higher through the education, peer support, and mentorship. I would recommend Providence to those who are desiring a faith-based education that will prepare you to take the next step, whether that’s launching your career, moving on to graduate studies, or just deepening and developing your faith. My time at Providence will always be a time that I will look back on fondly and cherish forever.”
