OTTERBURNE, MB – The official magazine of Providence, the Eye Witness, has been released online, and subscribers should have already received (or will soon be receiving) the annual magazine in their mailboxes.
The articles contained within the magazine’s pages will inspire and challenge you. There are so many Providence stories to tell, and the ones highlighted in this year’s Eye Witness represent only a small sample of our students and alumni who are making an impact in Canada and around the world.
We tell stories of Providence graduates – Paul Oleniuk (see pg 9) and Michelle Lam (see pg 14) – who are both making a positive impact through their careers. Paul started a career in government and is now the writer for the Leader of the Conservative Party (Canada’s Official Opposition) and Michelle, as the Director of the Centre for Aboriginal and Rural Education Studies at BrandonU, is working on a project funded through Canada Heritage to raise public awareness about racial inequities.
The Eye Witness is available free of charge, and anyone can subscribe by clicking here. OR you can simply read the magazine online! You can access it on any of your devices (desktop, tablet or mobile). We hope you enjoy reading this year’s edition.
