Rotessa, an online payment processing company out of Steinbach, MB, has found a great deal of success. Having processed over one million transactions worth over $350 million for over 1500 businesses across Canada and the US since 2010, Rotessa boasts in providing their customers with a simple platform with which to process payments. Greg Lepp (’05), Rotessa’s founder and President, graduated from Providence in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Lepp’s Providence experience played a key role in setting him up for the work he has done at Rotessa.

“My time at Providence has impacted my life in so many positive ways. I think about all the lifelong friends that I’ve made through Providence. What a blessing. I met my wife, business partner and mentors through Providence. The business program at Providence was just right for me. I was so intimidated going to college, and the smaller setting at Providence provided a backdrop that made me feel comfortable. More importantly, my professors made me feel comfortable.”

Providence has been working with Rotessa for a number of years, using the service to process some of the payments and donations we receive. Lepp says, “I still remember pitching Providence on the idea of processing recurring donations and rent payments through Rotessa 10 years ago. They believed in what I was doing and still process payments to this day through Rotessa.”

Lepp, alongside his Rotessa team which features other Providence graduates, has plans to continue building on this success as they secure new office space in Steinbach and continue to develop their loyal customer base.
