Equip Yourself for Christian Counselling in Northern Communities and Inuit and First Nations Settings

The Diploma in Biblical Counselling equips women and men in northern communities, First Nations and Inuit settings to provide non-vocational Christian counselling. As a student in this program you’ll draw on the counselling expertise of both Providence Theological Seminary and the Institute of Biblical Counselling International, and you’ll gain the theoretical foundation and basic skills to promote Christian growth through counselling and spiritual encouragement. Your diploma will be conferred by Providence. This program began in Rankin Inlet NU in 1998 and has expanded across the circumpolar regions including Canada, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Finland. There are currently more than 700 alumni of the program.
