Providence is excited to launch a new initiative – livestreaming capabilities for athletics events. High quality livestreaming allows all fans of the Providence Pilots, near of far, to experience the atmosphere of home games as if they were on campus. “The quality of the broadcast is going to be exceptional with our ability to stream in HD,” says Scott Masterson, Director of Athletics.
Thanks to a generous supporter, Providence has purchased new live streaming equipment and software to enhance the experience. “The viewer experience is going to be more enjoyable thanks to interactive graphics during the games, including a scoreboard graphic on screen at all times,” explains Masterson. “The possibilities are very exciting for us and the immediate impact will be a significant improvement to what we were providing in the past.”
Providence is partnering with PrestoSports to host our livestream platform and manage the production of home games.
Fans can watch on various platforms, including Apple TV, and on your mobile and tablet devices. Check each team’s schedule to find the home games you want to watch. When you check back on game day, simply click the camera graphic beside the game to start viewing.
