Jordan Peters’ Team Wins World Junior Curling Championship

One of our students in the Buller School of Business at Providence, Jordan Peters, won the Men’s World Junior Curling Championship this weekend on Friday, February 21, 2020.

His team, consisting of Jacques Gauthier (skip), Jordan Peters (vice skip), Brayden Payette (second) and Zack Bilawka (lead), represented Manitoba and won Canada’s 20th men’s gold metal at World Juniors in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

They defeated Switzerland 7-2 in the final on Friday night. For more details, you can read the story published on https://worldcurling.org.
