> Description: What is death? The usual Christian answer goes something like: Death is exile and alienation. Near the Bible’s beginning, after all, Adam and Eve die after being expelled from God’s Garden. This talk argues, however, that according to Genesis, human death isn’t an exile but rather a homecoming. By “returning to the dust,” Adam’s children become more, rather than less, of what they’re meant to be.
