Full-Length Production: Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap

March 15 - 18

A woman is murdered in her London home. A group of strangers is stranded in a boarding house (Monkswell Manor) during a snowstorm. There is the newly married couple who run the house—whose suspicions of each other nearly destroys their perfect marriage. The guests include an odd young woman with a mysterious past, a mentally unstable young architect,  a retired army major, a mysterious foreigner who arrives unexpectedly, claiming his car has overturned in the snow but who somehow knows his hosts names, and a former lady jurist who makes life miserable for everybody else. Into their midst comes a policeman, on skis, warning that the killer from the London case isn’t finished and that he/she may be headed for Monkswell Manor to finish what he/she has started. No sooner does the policeman arrive then the jurist is found, dead. Two down and still one to go. Desperate to discover the murder’s identity and the rationale for his/her pattern, the detective probes into the backgrounds of everyone present. In the process we discover that old sins do indeed have long shadows.
