Public Lecture: “Biology, Humanity’s Origin, & the Loving Spirit of God,” with Dr. Darrel Falk

Providence students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the general public, are welcome to attend Dr. Darrel Falk’s lecture, “Biology, Humanity’s Origin, & the Loving Spirt of God,” on Monday, November 12 at 11 a.m. The presentation will take place in the Howison Room of the Reimer Student Life Centre. Admission is free.

The Senior Advisor for Dialog and former President of BioLogos, Dr. Falk has a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Alberta and has spent his career integrating the areas of science and Christian faith. He previously completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of British Columbia and the University of California, Irvine, and is Emeritus Professor of Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.

Students are welcome to join Dr. Falk for lunch in the cafeteria following the lecture.

Dr. Falk will be presenting the same lecture on November 12 at 7 p.m. in Room 118 of St. John’s College at the University of Manitoba.

These lectures are facilitated by the Canadian Scientific and Christian Affiliation.
