Sports Camps

Providence Sports Camps combine a fun week of basketball, soccer or volleyball training with devotions and chapels, bonfires, terrific meals, free time and everything else you’d expect from a summer Bible Camp! Designed for all skill levels, Providence Sports Camps provide athletes with 5-6 hours of court/pitch time per day in skill sessions and league play. Our skill sessions are led by high-level feature instructors and league play is coached by our own college athletes. Come improve your skills, grow in excellence and become the best teammate you can be this summer!

Junior High Volleyball Camp is for those going into grades 7, 8 and 9. Junior Varsity Volleyball Camps are for those going into grades 9 and 10. Varsity Volleyball Camp is for those going into grades 11 and 12. Our Basketball and Soccer camps are for those going into grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. You must be 17-years-old or younger during camp, having not graduated from high school, in order to attend.

*NOTE: Any registrations attempted since Monday, Feb. 19 at noon, need to be resubmitted unless you received a payment approval. The issue has been resolved but forms will need to be submitted if you did not get to the payment page. Thank you.

Registration opens on February 1, 2018. All sports camps cost $395 plus GST. If the sports camp you wish to register for is full, don't worry! Just sign up to be on our waiting list and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.

Registration Day

Registration takes place the Monday of the camp week from 10:00am - 11:00am in the Reimer Student Life Centre on campus. We required campers to be dropped off rather than driving themselves to ensure the safety of our campers. Please plan to arrive on campus and register during our registration time.

Waiting List

If the camp you wish to register for is full, you will need to sign up to be placed on a waiting list. We will place you on a waiting list in the order in which your form is received. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you and you will have 48 hours to accept or reject the open spot. You do not need to pay to secure your spot on our waiting list. At the time of accepting the open spot, you will have until the end of the next business day to pay for your registration fees. Refund Policy

In the event that you must withdraw from Sports Camps, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancel 6 weeks prior to camp start date: Full Refund (minus $40 processing fee)
  • Cancel 3-5 weeks prior to camp start date: 60% Refund (minus $40 processing fee)
  • Cancel 0-2 weeks prior to camp start date: No Refund

In the case of an emergency withdrawal, please contact our Sports Camp Director.

All campers will stay in the college dormitories on campus. Boys and girls are housed separately and each room has two beds, two desks, a large closet and a three-piece washroom. All of our dormitories are supervised by the camp coaches.

Each room houses two campers (a maximum of three is allowed upon request, however, the third camper will sleep on a floor mattress). If there are roommate changes, please contact us at A maximum of two roommate changes is allowed and changes will not be finalized until we have received approval from all parties involved. There are no guarantees, but we will do our best to accommodate any roommate requests. We reserve the right to place campers in rooms that best suit the accommodation needs of the camp.

What to Bring

  • Plenty of gym clothes and socks
  • Extra gym shoes
  • Pillow and bedding
  • Towels (including a beach towel)
  • Alarm clock
  • Flashlight (optional)
  • Bible, pen and paper
  • Toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc.)
  • Hangers (if you wish to use the closets)
  • Sandals
  • Specific medical information
  • Sunscreen/bug spray
  • Spending money (meals are provided but campers may choose to bring money for clothing or snacks. We suggest no more than $25)
  • Fan (optional but recommended)
  • Water bottle
  • Costumes for theme nights

Do NOT Bring

  • Video games
  • Cell phone (if found, phones will be confiscated and returned at the end of the week)
  • Laptop
  • Stereo
  • Alcohol, drugs, tobacco*

*These items will be confiscated and may be returned at the end of the camp. Depending on the item, disciplinary measures will be taken.


On the Friday of each sports camp week we host a celebratory banquet for all our campers and parents! The banquet starts at 6:00pm and features a great meal provided by our Sodexo food services team followed by a short program where we introduce camp staff, hand out awards to campers and show a camp highlights video from the week. This is a great way for parents to see what their kids have been up to during the week. Once the banquet program is finished, a final team picture is taken and everyone is free to go home. The cost of the banquet is included for all campers and additional guests are $10 each.

The banquet is not mandatory and parents can pick up their child at 5:00pm if they choose not to attend.
