Welcome Week
The first few days of the fall semester are designed to help new students acclimatize to university life and to welcome back our returning students. Students have opportunities to tour the campus, complete paperwork, finalize payments, get a student photo taken, receive a library card, and gain access to the fitness centre. Students may also learn more about (and sign up) for performing arts or athletic opportunities on campus.
This Fall 2021, Welcome Week will follow a different schedule, but we are planning nonetheless to have a fun-packed week together. We will follow provincial guidelines for safe, COVID-free gatherings. We anticipate that we will still have to stagger the arrival of new students, wear masks in all indoor places and maintain physical distancing.
Our theme is ‘Exploration: We Recognize that Faith is a Journey.’ Below is a preview of our tentative schedule. Watch for more updates over the coming months.

9:00-11:30 am – Returning students go through registration
12:00-1:00 pm – Arrival of new students (surnames starting with A-G)*
1:00-2:00 pm – Arrival of new students (surnames starting with H-N)*
2:00-3:00 pm – Arrival of new students (surnames starting with O-Z)*
3:30 pm – Parent orientation
4:30 pm – Supper for ALL
6:00 pm – Parents depart
