The Diploma in Biblical Counselling equips women and men in northern communities, First Nations and Inuit settings to provide non-vocational Christian counselling. As a student in this program you'll draw on the counselling expertise of both Providence Theological Seminary and the Institute of Biblical Counselling International, and you'll gain the theoretical foundation and basic skills to promote Christian growth through counselling and spiritual encouragement. Your diploma will conferred by Providence. This program began in Rankin Inlet NU in 1998 and has been conducted more than 25 times in over a dozen Canadian communities and communities in Greenland and Finland. It is currently in progress in Dryden ON, the Faroe Islands, and the Helsinki region of Finland.
