Elfrieda Lepp-Kaethler (Ph.D. Psycholinguistics, University of Nottingham, UK) grew up on a grain farm near Rivers, Manitoba. She has worked as a language teacher and teacher educator in many countries including Paraguay, Ukraine, China and The Philippines. On faculty at Providence since 2000, she has taught in the graduate division of Providence’s TESOL and TTESOL programs since 2006. Her research interests include motivation in language learning and the role of visual art in instructed second language acquisition. One of her favourite hobbies is committing random acts of crocheting.
