I teach in the area of pastoral and vocational ministry including the MDiv program. I also direct the Doctor of Ministry program. Pastoral experience consists of conventional church ministry as lead pastor, church planter and associate in both Baptist and Evangelical Free Church contexts. I began teaching as a co-presenter at the seminary in 1999 with my spouse, became an intentional adjunct in 2007 and eventually began teaching full time at Providence in 2015 following many years of pastoral ministry. Ministry interests include mentoring, bi-vocational ministry and missional expressions of church life. Recreational interests include camping, hiking, cycling and reading about the great conquests of history.
