Speedy Striker Commits to the Pilots for the 2019 Season.
Joey Passi, men’s soccer coach, announces that Manitoba provincial 100m runner and striker Israel Olukoju commits to being a Pilot for the 2019 soccer season. Israel who competed for Manitoba as a track runner not only brings speed and quickness, but also brings a strong soccer resume after competing in the Premier league in Winnipeg for club team Bonivital FC. Israel comments on joining the Pilots, “I’m excited to join the Providence soccer team and do my best to help the team win. I’m looking forward to having a good relationship with the guys and to become part of this program.”
Israel is committed to studying in the Bulher Business Administration program next year. “I’m excited to have Israel join our team for this upcoming year,” said head Joey Passi, “Israel is a great kid, who brings hard work, solid character, and game-changing speed. We also are always looking for players who have past ties to Providence and being that both his parents are alumni, it makes it even more of a good fit for us. We’re excited to have him join our program.”
