Pilots Women's Soccer Add Goalie Amalia Major
Head coach Tory Walker announced late last week that the team has added much needed goal keeper Amalia Major to the team for this fall.
The goalie, from Langley, British Columbia, comes to the Pilots with strong athletic and academic awards such as high school soccer team MVP and the Caroline Fitton Humanitarian Award.
Coach Tory had this to say about his newest recruit, "I am very excited to announce Amalia is joining our team for this fall. She brings a fun positive character to this team and will fit right in with the team culture we are trying to build. She comes highly recommended by a few great connections in the B.C. area and I know she will have a great fall season for us."
Amalia comes to Providence to study in the Social Sciences and shared her excitement on joining the team by saying, "I’m more than excited to be apart of such a great school community both on and off the field! And looking forward to bringing my own energy to the Pilots."
Welcome to the Pilot family Amalia!
