Pilots Women's Soccer Add First Recruit of 2022 Baillee Wiebe
Otterburne, MB - Providence Pilot's women's soccer head coach Tory Walker announced the addition of goalkeeper Baillee Wiebe to the Pilots roster for next fall 2022.
The Steinbach, MB product comes to Providence playing 4 years of high school soccer at Steinbach Regional Secondary School and played for club team Hanover Fusion of the WYSA league.
"I am really excited to begin my journey at Providence as a Providence Pilot!" said Wiebe, "The things I am most excited about are getting to connect, talk and play with people I’ve never talked or played with before! I am excited to be in a new environment, and get to call Providence my home away from home! I am hoping to make a positive yet good impact while on the Providence Pilots Women’s Soccer team!"
Wiebe earned SRSS team MVP in 2020, golden glove award in 2016 and has played on numerous championship teams in her youth soccer days.
Wiebe is know for her ball stopping ability, technically sound diving and strong distribution with the ball. Wiebe comes to Providence to study in the Health Sciences.
“We are really excited to have Baillee join our program”, said head coach, Tory Walker, “us as coaches are committed to pushing this team to the next level and adding a quality goal keeper in Baillee is a great first step in the right direction for us. Baillee will bring great depth for us and has high potential to be a dominate goalie for both the MCAC and NCCAA leagues we compete in.”
