Pilots Men's Volleyball Add Libero Nathan Brown from Calvin Christian Collegiate
From Calvin Christian Collegiate, Nathan Brown has signed his letter of intent to play volleyball for the Providence Pilots this next fall.
The 5' 10" libero comes to the Pilots bringing strong leadership and loud presence on the court. His passion for the game helped his junior varsity AAA team earn a provincial championship in 2017-2018 as well as a third place finish in 2018-2019 where he was awarded all-star status. During his varsity years at Calvin Christian, Brown also placed second at provincials in 2019-2020.
Along with his athletic ability, Brown enjoys playing guitar for multiple church youth bands and helping coach junior volleyball at Calvin Christian.
"I am very excited to be a part of the Providence men's volleyball team," says, Brown, "I look forward to furthering my skills and working towards a successful season. Providence was a very attractive choice for me, having an amazing Christian environment I can further grow and mature my faith, and continue my studies in business."
Head coach Cody Quiring shared his excitement on his newest addition to the team by commenting, "We are extremely excited to have Nathan join the Pilots family this coming Fall. Nathan comes from a great family, school and club volleyball team; he brings enthusiasm, an intense passion on the defensive side of the ball and a heart that seeks to grow in his faith. We are excited to witness the impact Nathan will have with our team on and off the court."
