Pilots Men's Volleyball Add First Recruit of the 2021 Season

Head Coach Cody Quiring has announced his first signing for next season. Avery Bergmann, from Fort Richmond Collegiate of Winnipeg, has decided to join the Pilots next season.

The 6' 2" outside hitter comes to the Pilots to study in the Buller School of Business. On the court Avery is known for his leadership and encouragement as well as his unrelenting work ethic.

Avery commented on joining the Pilots by saying, "I’m excited to attend Providence to pursue my love for volleyball along with getting my Business Administration degree with a faith based background."

Head Coach Quiring echoed his excitement by saying, "We are excited to announce our first men’s program volleyball signee for Fall 2021! Avery comes to Providence with an extreme amount of enthusiasm and love for the game of volleyball. Avery is no stranger to the Providence campus, being involved in both our Providence Athletics summer camps and our Jr. Pilots club volleyball program in previous years. We are excited to welcome a student-athlete like Avery into the program who strives to be a constant learner of the game and grow in his craft. We look forward to having Avery join us for his degree and work towards achieving his potential on the volleyball court and his Business Administration degree in the classroom. Welcome to the squad, Avery.”

Welcome to the Pilot family Avery!
