Pilots Men’s Volleyball Sign Middle Thomas Pain
From Vernon, British Columbia, 6’0” Middle Thomas Pain has signed his letter of intent to play men’s volleyball this fall for the Providence Pilots.
Pain last played volleyball for club team Sky Volleyball and Vernon Panther High. The tall middle brings an intelligent presence to the court, a positive mindset and an ability to never give up on plays. Pain also is known for his leadership and athletic ability being awarded for those traits in his high school in 2018-2019.
“I am so excited to play volleyball at the next level,” said Pain, “Really looking forward to improving in my abilities, meeting new people, and most importantly, living at a beautiful Christian campus.”
Pain comes to the Providence campus to study Health Sciences as well as join an already strong Pilots volleyball team.
Head coach Cody Quiring commented on his newest recruit by saying, “It’s always great to add a west coast student-athlete to the program! Thomas brings a great work ethic, grit and passion to the program. From the first conversation, we could tell Thomas was willing to put in the hard work to reach his potential as a collegiate athlete. His desire of academics aligned nicely with our Health Sciences program here at Providence. Thomas is a stand out academic who will seek to make an impact with the program on the court, in the classroom and in the community.”
Welcome to the Pilot family Thomas!
