FROM THE COACH:
“This was another great weekend of volleyball for our team. All 4 matches were against tough opponents that tested us in every aspect of the game. Just like our last matches 2 weeks ago, these types of opponents show us where we need to improve in most. It was very encouraging that when we were playing the way we should, we were right there with every one of the teams we faced. The tough part about the weekend was that we were too inconsistent in a few areas to have the results we were hoping for. We have a short turnaround with our home tournament coming up this weekend so we will look to have a solid week of practices and build off of a lot of good things we did in Red Deer.” - Kyle Guenther
PLAYER’S VIEW:
“Playing and watching our team compete this weekend was very exciting. This is a level of volleyball that I am thrilled to be a part of and I’m looking forward to the challenge it brings for me and the team. We have a great group of girls on our team and if we continue to progress the way we have, we will do big things this season.” – Brooke De Jong
