Pilots Flight Report: Women’s Futsal – January 26
The Pilots Women’s Futsal team’s struggles to get a win continue. Head coach Tory believes he has seen a ton of improvement system and development wise but the results have yet to show on the score sheet as the Pilots hosted the Brandon teams this weekend.

Game #1
GAME: Providence Pilots vs Assiniboine Community College Cougars
SCORE: L 6-2
DATE: Saturday, January 26
LOCATION: Otterburne, MB

Caleigh Peden – 1 Goal
Zoe Kriznic – 1 Goal

Game #2
GAME: Providence Pilots vs Brandon University Bobcats
SCORE: L 5-1
DATE: Saturday, January 26
LOCATION: Otterburne, MB

Amelia Reimer – 1 goal

Our defensive system fell apart early on in both games this weekend which gave us an uphill battle to get back into games. the 2nd half of the Brandon Bobcat game I really thought our team finally started to play the right way both defensively and offensively, we just couldn’t get a break offensively and couldn’t complete the come back. Our team is young and for a lot of players this is the first year playing Fustal, we are focused on the process and are working hard to develop and grow together as a team.

PLAYER’S VIEW: The girls gave their all this weekend and have improved very quickly. Our results don’t represent how much effort this team puts in. I’m glad to be a part of a team that tries hard and never gives up, can’t wait for our effort to pay off – Caleigh Peden.
