DATE: Friday, January 24
LOCATION: Otterburne, MB
PILOTS KEY CONTRIBUTORS:
Kara Kamai: Shutout
Kathryn Tierney: 1 goal, game winner.
FROM THE COACH: "This was a really great game for our team, despite the score looking really close our team excited very well and at a high level. We have started to figure out our system and showed some really great moments of very nice futsal. Defensively we had a really good game, our goalie Kara Kamai made a few great saves to keep us at zero goals against. It was really great to see Kathryn Tierney be back and healthy and contribute with a goal and a ton of hard work. This team seems to be only getting better and bonding closer, it's really exciting to see as a coach and I am excited to see how far we will go this futsal season." - Tory Walker
PLAYER’S VIEW: "I’m really proud of how the team performed this weekend. I think we worked well as a unit and came out with result we wanted. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season with this group of talented players!" - Kathryn Tierney
