FROM THE COACH:
“Our season came to a sudden end on Friday night, and none of us were prepared for that outcome. From day one, we believed that we were going to Joplin for the national tournament. All season we found ways to win games despite the immense adversity we faced. Our team has displayed so much character and continual growth throughout the year. We entered regionals with confidence and the spirit of champions. We didn’t achieve our lofty goals, but we took big steps forward, helping to set ourselves up for even greater success next season. We set program records of cracking the NCCAA top ten at two different times, and had the second highest power ranking in the country. We would have loved to raise a banner in our gym, but we can keep our heads held high knowing that we had a special season.” Joel Coursey
