FROM THE COACH:
"I was very happy with our performance on Saturday night. Having only one match on the weekend and it being on the Saturday night can really be hard for the athletes to be as pumped up as normal. We did a really good job overall of maintaining a positive, high energy pace to our game. Above that, it was one of the most intelligent games we have played all season. Our hitters were smart all match long. Our defense read the plays better than we have all season. And our blockers did a fairly decent job sticking to our assignments all night. It was fun to watch our team execute our game plans as a whole from start to finish. Entering our final week of regular season games, I hope we can replicate this type of play against the two top teams in the league." - Kyle Guenther
PLAYER’S VIEW:
“I feel like we took a step in a really great direction in our game on Saturday. We played very smart, and that was something that really worked to our advantage. If we can start channeling more of that into our games coming up, it could help us be very successful. It was exciting to see us rise to the challenge and execute well.” – Kristen Taillon
