Pilots Flight Report: Women’s Futsal - February 3

Pilots injury bug and sicknesses downs Pilots this weekend in Winnipeg.

Game #1
GAME: Providence Pilots vs Canadian Mennonite University
SCORE: Loss 12-4
DATE: February 3, 2019
LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB

Makayla Myer – 1 Goal
Sofia Beltrame – 1 Goal
Amelia Reimer – 1 Goal
Caleigh Peden – 1 Goal

This was a tough game for our girls to get up for and play. All week we have been battling injuries, sicknesses and despite that fact I thought our team played a good game. Obviously the results don’t show that but our goalie Morgan was injured and wasn’t even close to her level. The team is developing a lot and we are starting to play a lot nicer game! Hopefully soon the results will show.

Despite another loss against CMU, I think it’s safe to say that we are slowly finding our groove. Although we suffered through injury and sickness this past game, we were able to score 4 goals on top of it all, a new record in a single game for us. The score does not reflect the effort we put into that game whatsoever. I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the season, and hopefully our first win! – Chloe Jahn
