FROM THE COACH: "I am very proud of this team for how they battled until the very end. We had an incredible second half to our season and we put ourselves in a position to win the match in the 5th set. We just didn’t make the plays at the very end of the match that were needed and full credit goes to CMU as they battled hard to come from 2 sets down. It has been such a great rivalry between both teams this season and the final did not disappoint. Although it hurts to not come out with the win, it was a fun match to be part of. The atmosphere was incredible and our guys gave all they had and left everything out there. I am thankful for the opportunity to coach these incredible young men and this team holds a special place in my coaching memories for how close we were as a group and how we overcame so many obstacles this season." - Scott Masterson

PLAYER’S VIEW: “ Tough way to go out, finals could have easily gone either way, but we are able to hold our heads high knowing what we were able to accomplish this season. I could not have asked for a better group of teammates and coaches to go into battle with this season. We faced adversity and were able to overcome week after week. This year's group was so special and I am so thankful that it was saved for my last year. It's been an honour to wear the navy and white for the last 4 years.“ - Pierce Dresser

“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this season, and over the weekend. We couldn’t have gone as far as we did without you. It was not the way we wanted the season to end, but I’m proud of the way we battled and left it all on the court. I’m really thankful for this team and the coaches. It was a fun season, and it will be one I’ll always look back on as being one of my favourites!” - Willie Goossen
