FROM THE COACH:
"It is difficult to win on the road, especially when you travel with few players. Congratulations to Turtle Mountains for the way they played this weekend! They were able to play at their rhythm, shooting with a high percentage both games and forcing us to slow down our game. Our team didn’t show their best, and it is a collective loss at home for us. All the best basketball players will tell you that failure and falling is part of the process of learning and getting better, it is true, and I hope that this failure at home will be the starting point of a new direction for our team, as we travel to the reigning NIAC Champion this weekend." - Pierre Dubreuil

PLAYER’S VIEW:
“Although we did win one of our two games this weekend, overall we played with very little energy and allowed the other team to set the tempo. Our movements were very slow, and we did not fully execute our plays. Yet through this, we stayed together as a team. We encouraged each other and picked one another up when we missed a shot or made a bad play. It was a rough weekend for the team, but we can use this as a learning experience and as motivation to work hard and perform well next weekend.” - William Dueck
