Players View: We came out fired up for the chance to come back home after splitting our matches with them first semester. We had respect for their team as they have made improvements but we still knew we could beat them. We stuck to our game plan and were able to win the double header. -Jonas Friesen

FROM THE COACH: These were very important matches for us as we wanted to accomplish a couple of key targets. First, we felt it was critical to win both matches if we were going to create some separation in the standings between us and ACC, as we split with them in the first semester. Second, we needed to be able to put 2 match wins in a row to prove to ourselves that we could be more consistent in our level of play. We were able to win both matches, with several different players in the lineup for each match, and our level of play was good. We definitely still had some dips in our play throughout each match but were always able to respond in time to come out on top. We have a lot of tough matches ahead of us still in the schedule and our hope is to keep improving every week to put ourselves in a good position heading into playoffs and also to finish the season playing some of our better volleyball.
