Pilots Basketball sign Guard Joshua Armstrong to the team.
Despite the fact that classes are starting in one day, head coach Pierre Dubreuil is finalizing his roster for the 2019-2020 campaign.
“The addition of Joshua to our roster at the guard position is great news for the basketball program!" Said coach Pierre, "Joshua is a powerful guard with the ability to finish close to the ring against taller players. His work ethic and love for the game is welcomed to Providence. I’m very confident that he’s going to be a great fit for our team and school culture and I’m looking forward to start working with him and the team!”
Joshua, from Mississauga, Ontario comes to Providence to study in the Sociology department and play basketball as a Pilot.
Joshua comments on his decision to sign with the Pilots by saying, “I’m excited at the opportunity to be a part of the Pilots Basketball team and attending Providence. I had struggled to determine which path to take after graduation and took a year off to develop not only my basketball skills but to focus on finding the right school. I had applied to several different universities, but Providence aligned with my Christian values and offered a great sociology and athletics program. I am grateful that I was accepted and also would like to thank my parents for supporting me as I found my path.”
Welcome to the Pilot Family Joshua!
