Goalkeeper Jacob Albright Signs with the Pilots Men’s Soccer Team
Jacob Albright became the latest Providence Pilot student athlete to ink his letter of intent. From Fort Francis, Ontario, the 6’2” goalkeeper, comes to the Pilots with a winning history. His team won the NORwassa championships three years in a row and in just his grade 10 year was named MVP of his high school soccer team.
Jacob’s work ethic and athleticism will be a huge asset to the Pilot's team this next fall. Head Coach Joey Passi had this to say about the newest recruit, “I saw Jacob back in grade 9 and was interested. I thought he was actually in grade 12 back then; that's how much potential he had. As such, to get him now 3 years later is awesome. He brings a lot of potential, desire and skill to the GK position for us. We're extremely excited to have him join our squad. He's going to make an immediate impact."
Jacob comes to Providence to study science and shared his excitement by saying, “I am really excited to not only start playing at Providence, but also learning through the academics and growing as a person.”
Welcome to the Pilot family Jacob!
