Grad 2020
Message from the President
In my 30 years at Providence, the graduation of April 2020 will always stand out because it didn’t happen in the time, place or manner of every other graduation. Graduation 2020 was not what any of us bargained for. Unfortunately, due to the continuing issues around COVID-19, we could not hold an in-person graduation ceremony this year.
We feel it is important, however, to reach out to you on behalf of our Providence community with well wishes on your future endeavors. We want to express how proud we are of you and all your accomplishments, successes and resiliency. May God provide for you as you move on to whatever journey He has next for you. It is my hope that you might be able to join us on the weekend of April 23-24, 2021. At this graduation ceremony, we will honour both the Graduates of 2020 and 2021, allowing you to take part in the exciting event we were not able to host this year.
President David H. Johnson, PhD
