A Certificate in Biblical Studies from Providence Theological Seminary is an excellent program for lay-people interested in Bible and Theology, for people interested in a seminary degree who want to begin online, and for those involved in ministry who wish to increase their knowledge of the Bible and Theology.
Core course requirements for entrance into the applied counselling program are listed in the Academic Calendar. Acceptance into the Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies program will be evaluated on case-by-case basis. Although a recognized undergraduate degree is preferred, admission as a mature student without an undergraduate degree will be considered. In such instances, previous post-secondary education, employment and/or ministry experience may be taken into account.
Coursework successfully completed for the Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies may be transferable to other Providence Seminary degree programs (applicant must meet degree program entrance qualifications).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please look to the Academic Calendar for full information and course lists. If there are discrepancies between the information listed here and in the Academic Calendar, the Academic Calendar is definitive.
