Winnipeg defender Blake Dueck commits to the Pilots for the 2019 soccer season.

Head coach Joseph Passi has announced that defender from Winnipeg’s Phoenix FC has signed his letter of intent and will study in the Science program here at Providence next fall.

“I am excited to learn how to become a better player and meet new people.” Says Blake, “It is going to be a really good experience.”

The Dueck family aren’t strangers to the Providence community, coach joseph Passi commented on this by saying “Building relationship within families that send more than one kid to our programs is always a plus for us. Blake joins a program where his sister is already plying her trade and we’ve only gotten good vibes from her so that means a lot to us. We’re excited to have Blake join our program – he brings a simple, straight-forward kind of game that is always needed on the field. Besides that, he brings speed and work ethic. I believe he’s going to be a player who’s going to see massive improvement the second he shows up here. We’re happy to have him on board.”

Welcome to the Pilot family Blake!
