Provincial MVP Jacee Turner commits to the Pilots volleyball team for the 2019-2020 season.

Head coach Kyle Guenther announced that he has signed a heavy hitter in Jacee Turner, a right side from St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba.

Jacee comes to Providence with a long list of awards and achievements as a volleyball athlete which includes; MHSAA Provincial Champion, Provincial MVP, MHSAA Graduating All-Star, MHSAA Provincial All-Star in 2016 and 2017. Jacee intends on studying in the science program here at Providence.

Kyle had this to say about his newest recruit, “I am very excited to have Jacee joining our Pilots family. She has had a lot of success over the last few years both individually and on her teams in high school and club. Jacee is very athletic, has great ball control and brings a lot of offensive ability. To go with her fantastic resume on the court, Jacee's attitude and positivity will be great for our team as well.”

Jacee echoed Kyle’s excitement by saying, “I'm looking forward to the challenge of playing volleyball at the post-secondary level while continuing my education at Providence. I'm grateful for the opportunity to play on a new team and meet new friends.”
