Pilots Women's Volleyball Lands Commitment from Haley Blain
Pilots volleyball has landed a player who will help the team this fall.
Haley Blain, a 5'9" left side who played for Rhinos Volleyball Club in Lloydminster, Alberta, decided just yesterday that she would be taking her talents to the Otterburne Campus to join the Pilots for the fall 2020 season.
As a senior in high school she was her team captain, MVP in grade 11, and provincial champion in 2018.
"I am excited to start this new chapter of my life at Providence," said Haley, "I can't wait to see what the future has in store for my academics and volleyball career."
Haley comes to Providence to study psychology and play for the Pilots.
Head coach Kyle Guenther had this to say about his newest recruit, "Haley is going to be a really great fit in our program. She is an all around athlete with skill that will make our team better. Haley has a desire to work hard and excel as an athlete while also deepen her faith in Jesus. I am excited to work with her and help her achieve both goals she has coming in to our program."
Welcome to the Pilot family Haley!
