Pilots women’s volleyball add middle Brooklyn De Jong.
The Providence Pilots welcome Brooklyn De Jong, from River East Collegiate to the Providence community as she recently signed her letter of intent to play for the Pilots this fall.
De Jong is a Club National Champion, a MHSAA Graduating All-Star, Provincial Champion who plays Middle and carries a lot of awards and achievements for her volleyball career. “I am very excited to attend Providence this fall” Said De Jong, “It has a great education program as well as a successful volleyball team. I love the Christian aspect of the school and I’m so pumped to become a Pilot.”
De Jong plans on studying in the Social Sciences program here at Providence.
Coach Kyle Guenther shared his excitement by saying “I am ecstatic about Brooklyn joining our team this fall. She has all of the qualities that make up what we want in a student-athlete at Providence. Brooklyn is a strong athlete with great skill in all areas of the game. I am certain she will have an immediate impact on our team. Her impressive resume in school and club volleyball will be a welcome addition to our fairly young core. I am really looking forward to what Brooklyn will bring on and off the court this coming season.”
Welcome to the Pilot Family Brooklyn!
