The Providence Pilots women’s soccer team add offensive threat Kathryn Tierney for the 2019 season.

Since training at an elite level with U18 AS Roma development squad this past month on a soccer exchange program, Kathryn has decided to take her talents to the university level. Kathryn comes to Providence with a very long and impressive resume. She has been the athlete of the year at Murdoch Mackay high school for the past 3 years, and has been an honour roll student each year. Outside of soccer Kathryn is passionate about art, photography and volunteers regularly with a youth and philanthropy group.

Kathryn is interested in studying psychology here at Providence. “I am happy to join the Pilots team. I am looking forward to making new friends and being a part of something special for the next chapter in my life. I am eager to get to know the girls on the team and helping myself progress to become a better person. I am very excited to learn and grow here at Providence” says, Kathryn.

Coach Tory Walker had this to say about the newest recruit, “Kathryn is a very skilled player for us and is going to instantly be a game changer, she is calm on the ball and is always positive. She brings great character and skill to the team. Welcome to the Pilot family Kathryn.”
