FROM THE COACH:
It was a tough way to start the 2nd semester after our 2 losses this weekend. We came out really flat against St. Boniface on Friday which was frustrating. It was one of those nights where nothing really worked. To cap that off, we lost our setter at the end of the match due to injury. The next night we rebounded with a much better effort but couldn’t close out any of the sets. We had chances to win in each of the sets but came out on the losing end every time. I liked the way our team came together to bounce back after Friday and we faced adversity with an injured setter really well. Moving forward, we need to find a way to play the end of sets better and close out games we should win.
