Pilots Flight Report: Women's Soccer - September 28 & 29

Pilots headed into this weekend searching to find a goal as the last three games the team has struggled to put the ball in the net, despite out possessing opponents. Makayla Myer started the scoring for the team this weekend as they found the net 4 times. The team breathed a sigh or relief. Now their focus shifts to two home games this weekend.

FROM THE COACH: "This week we worked on our final 3rd build up and played a great game vs USB. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish our chances and they did. The game seemed pretty even to me but our team has yet to put a full game together. The game against ACC was a brutal game to be a part of, not because of any circumstances we could control. The weather was cold, wet and windy which made the game extremely hard to play good soccer. I am proud of how our team dug deep and found a way to get the 3 points and got the monkey off our back and scored 4 nice goals." - Tory Walker

PLAYER’S VIEW: "Playing both games this weekend was a really great learning experience for me. Not only did we have to handle tough teams, but we also had to deal with horrible weather. Although everyone was cold, tired, and wet, we all pushed through and gave 100% to everything, and I’m so proud of the team. There were times where we all got too tired or too cold and stopped giving everything we had to the game, but once everyone began to encourage each-other we started to connect more. I believe that every person on this team has a lot of skill and potential, and I’m so excited for what the rest of the season brings us." - Kara Kamai
