FROM THE COACH:
If you looked at our record you would think this futsal season was terrible and demoralizing, however having only 2 or 3 players on our team who had played futsal before I saw a ton of growth and development throughout the season. As a coach I saw this team improve every week and you can tell by our results this weekend. We competed with one of the top teams in the league. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I am extremely proud to coach such a great group of young women. Now that the season is over, my focus shifts to next outdoor soccer season! – Tory Walker

PLAYER’S VIEW:
We had a fun day in Brandon as a team and played 2 hard fought games. I’m proud of the teams effort and how we fought til the end, even though the bounces just didn’t go our way. That’s how soccer goes sometimes and the important thing is that we’ve improved as a team and as individuals. – Amelia Reimer

It was a tough weekend for our team as we came home with two losses, but I’m proud to say that our team continued to work hard until the very end of our season. And it was wonderful to experience how positive the team stayed throughout it all and continued to encourage one another. We got a great group of girls here and we are excited for the next season to start. – Lexi Koop

As a team we probably played some of our best futsal this weekend. We played right through to the end and never giving up, which I think says a lot about our teams character and determination. – Lindsey Dueck
