FROM THE COACH:
“I think we are ahead of where we were at this point last season. The preseason is tough, and will only get tougher as we face a pair of perennial top 25 NAIA schools over the next two weeks, but this past weekend showcased some strengths that I didn’t know we had. I was impressed with our ability to comeback after trailing for most of three quarters, and closeout the game for our first win. Our goal is to maximize our learning over the next two weeks, so that we are ready for another strong regular season campaign.” - Joel Coursey

PLAYER’S VIEW:
“Being our first games of the season, I think we played well. Obviously, there is room for improvement, but overall we had a solid performance and managed to get a win. Our team is coming together nicely and I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for us.” - Megan Wiebe
