FROM THE COACH:

We haven’t had much time to train or come together as a team, prior to this tournament, and so this was a great opportunity for us to do just that. We didn’t have many expectations going in and overall, we felt like we improved by the end of the weekend. It was great to spend time on the road together and everyone got some good match play experience. It looks to me like we are going to have a lot of depth at each position with a lot of different guys being able to contribute. - Scott Masterson

PLAYER’S VIEW:

This weekend was our initial starting point for our huge mountain climb up ahead, which is the 2019-20 men's volleyball season. The first few games started off slow, we were remembering how to play again, and we were getting used to our new teammates. Just like a climber needs to get back in the groove of climbing again and even needs time to get accustomed to new equipment. Towards the end of the weekend we started to get our footing. We won our final game of the weekend and it was a great confident boost for our team. - Pierce Dresser
