FROM THE COACH:
"This was a very important weekend for us in terms of season series record against ACC, as well as our goal of staying in 1st place in the MCAC standings. ACC is a tough gym to play in and their team always puts up a strong fight every match, so we knew we had to work really hard to earn each win. ACC did a great job of making things difficult for us and I thought our guys battled hard, always had a belief that we would find a way to win, and really continued to come together as a group. Both of our middles played really well all weekend and we continue to be impressed with the strong play of 1st year middle Tyler Klassen. He has become a significant presence at the net for us, both as a blocker and attacker and is a big reason why we were able to come away with two wins this weekend." - Scott Masterson

PLAYER’S VIEW:
“This weekend was an important one for our team. We were able to come out with two wins despite getting off to some slow starts and struggling to earn points. Through the tough stretches, we stayed positive and continued to believe in ourselves. This showed us what we are capable of if we remain confident in one another. After this weekend, we sit at 11-2 for the season and we are looking forward to getting back on the court for the final month of the season.” - Tyler Klassen
